Animals (Control of Importation), 1952 (No. 36 of 1952)
Regulation 14(1): The importation of any dog the weight of which exceeds twenty-five pounds or the weight of which when fully grown will in the opinion of a veterinary inspector exceed twenty-five pounds, is prohibited. (2) Any person who contravenes the provisions of paragraph (1) of this regulation shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding three months or to both such fine and imprisonment.
