NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE ACT, 2012 (ACT 852)
Section 73:
(1) A private commercial health insurance scheme shall be required as a condition for registration and licensing by the Board to deposit with the Bank of Ghana an amount of money that the Board shall prescribe as security for its members.
(2) The security referred to under subsection (1) shall be maintained throughout the period that the business of private commercial health insurance is carried on.
(3) The Board may review the level of the security deposit.
