The Hire Purchase Act (Extension of Application) Order, 1961 L.I. 120
IN exercise of the powers conferred on the Minister responsible for
Trade by subsection (l) of section 2 of the Hire-Purchase Act, 1958 (No. 55) (as amended by the Second Schedule to the Constitution (Consequential Provisions) Act, 1960 (CA. 8)), this Order is made this 20th day of June, 1961.
1. The provisions of the Hire-Purchase Act, 1958 are hereby applied to all goods sold by retail, the cash price of which is fifty pounds or more.
2. In this Order, " cash price " means the price at which the goods may be purchased for cash.
