Dam Safety Regulations, 2016, L.I. 2236

Regulation 19
(1) The owner of a dam or the operator of a dam shall, give the Commission at least thirty days written notice before suspending the operation of the dam, where suspension of the operation is to last for more than six months.
(2) The owner of the dam or the operator of the dam shall,
(a)  before suspending operations in accordance with subregulation
(b)  submit a plan of activity during the suspension, to the Commission for approval;
(c)  notify the Commission of the commencement date for the implementation of the plan approved, at least fourteen days before commencing to implement the plan; and
(d)  submit to the Commission, a report on planned activities to be undertaken during the period of suspension of normal operations.
