HEALTH PROFESSIONS REGULATORY BODIES ACT, 2013 (ACT 857)
Section 33:
(1) A temporary registration is valid for a period of not more than three months and is renewable yearly upon request for not more than a period of three years.
(2) A practitioner on a temporary register shall not practice except in an approved hospital or institution.
(3) A practitioner who contravenes subsection (2) commits an offence and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of not less than five hundred penalty units and not more than five thousand penalty units or to a term of imprisonment of not more than ten years or to both.
