FACTORIES, OFFICES AND SHOPS (FIRST AID) REGULATIONS, 1970 LI 655

(l) For premises in which the number employed does not exceed 50 persons and in which no mechanical power is used, each boxes. first aid box or cupboard shall contain at least:—
(a) A copy of the first aid leaflet (First Aid Form No. 1) issued by the Chief Inspector of Factories.
(b) A suffcient number (not less than six) of small size sterilized dressings for injured fingers.
(c) A sumcient number (not less than three) of medium sized dressings for injured hands or feet.
(d) A sufficient number (not less than three) of large sterilized dressings for other injured parts.
(e) A suffcient number (not less than twelve) of adhesive wound dressing of an approved type and of assorted sizes.
(f)  A suffcient supply of adhesive plaster.
(g) A suffcient supply of absorbent sterilized cotton wool, in half ounce packets.
(h) At least two sterilized eye pads in separate packets.
(i) A rubber bandage or pressure bandage.
(j) A suffcient supply (not less than one yard) of grey baft for tearing into bandages to supplement the stock.
(k) Acriflavin or a 1 % aqueous solution of gentian violet. (l) One tube of Tannafax Jelly for burns. (m) A bottle of sal volatile, having the dose and mode of administration indicated on the label. (n) A supply of safety pins.
(2) For premises in which the number employed does not exceed 50 persons and in which mechanical power is used, each first aid box or cupboard shall contain at least:—
(a) A copy of the first aid leaflet (First Aid Form No. I) issued by the Chief Inspector of Factories.  
(b) A stficient number (not less than twelve) of small sterilized dressings for injured fingers.
(c) A sumcient number (not less than six) of medium size sterilized dressings for injured hands or feet.
(d) A sufficient number (not less than six) of large sterilized dressings for other injured parts.
(e) A sufficient number (not less than twenty-four) of adhesive wound dressings of an approved type and of assorted sizes.
(f)  A sufficient supply of adhesive plaster.
(g) At least four sterilized eye pads in separate packets.
(h) A rubber bandage or pressure bandage.
(i)  A sufficient supply (not less than two yards) of grey baft for tearing into bandages to supplement the stock. (j) One tube of Tannafax Jelly for burns.
(k) A sufficient supply of sterilized cotton wool, in half ounce packets.
(l)  Acriflavin or a I % aqueous solution of gentian violet.
(m) A bottle of sal volatile having the dose and mode of administration indicated on the label.
 (n) Castor Oil eye drops and dropper. (o) A supply of safety pins.
(3)  For premises in which the number of persons employed exceeds 50 persons, each firsi aid box or cupboard shall contain at least :—
(a) A copy of the first aid leaflet (First Aid Form No. I) issued by the Chief Inspector of Factories.
(b) A sufficient number (not less than twenty-four) of small sterilized dressings for injured fingers.
(c)  A sufficient number (not less than twelve) of medium size sterilized dressings for injured hands or feet.
(d) A sufficient number (not less than twelve) of large sterilized dressings for other injured parts.
(e) A sufficient number (not less than thirty-six) of adhesive wound dressings of an approved type and of assorted sizes.
(f)  A sufficient supply of adhesive plaster.
(g) A sufficient number (not less than eight) of sterilized eye pads in separate packets.
(h) A rubber bandage or pressure bandage.
(i)  A sufficient supply (not less than six yards) of grey baft for tearing into bandages to supplement the stock. (j) One tube of Tannarax Jelly for burns.
(k) A sufficient supply of sterilized cotton wool, in half ounce packets.
(l)  Acriflavin or a 1 % aqueous solution of gentian violet.
(m) A bottle of sal volatile, having the dose and mode of administration indicated on the label.
(n)  Castor Oil eye drops and dropper.
(o)  A supply of splints (common wood or other suitable splints).
(P) A tourniquet.
(q) A sufficient supply (not less than four) of triangular bandages.
(r) A supply of safety pins.
(4) Nothing except appliances or requisites for first aid shall be kept in a first aid box or cupboard.
