Public Notice NPA N. 004 Petroleum Product Retail Outlet Construction Permit

i. A letter of sponsorship from an existing oil marketing company, in the case where the retail outlet is being constructed by an individual. 
ii. Proof of Title to the land/Indenture 
iii. A Fire Report signed by the Chief Fire Officer or a Regional Fire Officer evidencing that arrangements proposed for the prevention and fighting of fire coupled with good housekeeping practices at the site are satisfactory 
iv. The Town and Country Planning Department’s development/building permit. 
v. An environmental permit from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and vi. 3 copies of the approved plan(s) showing building(s), existing or proposed, on the site and the relation of the site to road/railways, electrical transmission and power lines, water bodies and adjoining properties. The copies should be labeled

Procedure to Follow


To Apply for Drivers Instructor License
  1. The applicant should contact the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority Head Office.
  2. Applicant has to approach the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Authority Head Office in Ghana and the, the applicant can get their application form.
  3. Applicant has to enter all the information in the application form.
  4. Applicant must make sure to carry all the necessary documents that are mentioned under “Required Documents” section of this page. (Both photocopies and originals)
  5. Submit the completed form together with all the required documents to the Accreditation Committee.
  6. After evaluation of his/her application, the applicant will receive a PAY ORDER SLIP from the secretariat for payment of Written Examination. The applicant needs to pay the written exam fee one week before the actual exam.
  7. Proceed to the cashier for payment of the examination fee. A fee has to be paid as per as authority’s request.
  8. Submit a copy of Official Receipt to the Secretariat and get a schedule for written examination.
  9. On the day of the applicant’s schedule, go to LTO Central/Regional Office and take the written examination.
  10. Result of the exam will be released within 15 working days. Those who passed the exam will receive notice of examination result.
  11. The applicant will then be issued a PAY ORDER SLIP for payment of Accreditation.
  12. Go to the cashier and pay the accreditation fee.
  13. Submit a copy of Official Receipt to the Secretariat.
  14. After checking the Official Receipt, the Certificate of Accreditation will be issued to the applicant.
  15. The processing time for this procedure is 5 days.

PROCEDURE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF DRIVERS LICENCE

The procedure is as follows:
  1. Applicant approaches a DVLA certified Driving School for registration unto the training platform.
  2. Applicant is presented to the DVLA office and issued the learner permit as well as other learning materials that could help them prepare adequately for the computer-based theory test.
  3. While undergoing the compulsory 48-hour driver training, the driving school shall assist applicants to register for the computer-based theory test.
  4. Applicants who pass the computer-based theory test will then proceed to take the practical driving test (in-traffic test).
  5. Applicants who pass the in-traffic test are then issued a temporary driver’s licence for three months.
