Guideliness for Environmental Management Plans (EMP) and Audit
Projects that have been granted environmental permits or certificates by the EPA based on the Environmental Impact Statements submitted are required to submit Annual Environmental Reports (AER). The AER legal requirement to be fulfilled twelve (12) months after commencement of operations and thereafter every twelve (12) months (Section 12 ofLI 1652, 1999). AER shall report on:
• Monitoring returns
• Adequacy and appropriateness ofmitigation measures
• Environmental standards and measures
• Set targets etc.
