Fruit Industry (Coffee) Regulation 1970, L.I 644

Regulation 1:
1. The standards of quality of coffee intended for export shall be as follows
(i) Superior Quality.—Coffee which is free from extraneous matter and consists of clean dry beans free from mustiness and which contains not more than twenty per cent by count of defective beans which shall be inclusive of not more than four pc" cent by count of black beans.
(ii) Fair Average Quality.—Coffee which is free from extraneous matter and consists of clean dry beans fiee from mustiness and which contains not more than tuenty-five per cent by count of defective beans which shall be inclusive of not more than eight percent by count of black beans.
(ii) Sub-Standard Quality.—Coffee which is free from extraneous matter and consists of clean dry beans free from mustiness and which contains more than twenty-five per cent but less than fifty pel cent by count of defective beans which shall be inclusi've of not more than eight per cent by count of black beans.
