Prohibition of Sale of Beer and Spirits (Private Houses) ACT, 1979 (A.F.R.C.D. 33)
Section 1(1): Beer, stout, wine or spirit shall not be sold on the premises of a private house.
(2) Despite an enactment to the contrary, a licence granted to a person under the Liquor Licensing
Act, 1970 (Act 331) in respect of the sale of beer, stout, wine or spirits on any premises specified in
subsection (1) of this section shall cease to have effect.
